2016 Limestone Pinot Gris


Sourced from a single vineyard in Central Hawkes Bay, these Low yielding grapes were handpicked at full maturity. The majority were stainless steel fermented and had regular lees stirring for 5 months. 10% of the juice was barrel fermented and matured for 8 months in French oak. The nose is lightly perfumed with floral aromas. The complex structure is dominated by intense stone fruit flavours, with Quince and Guava influence supporting the palette. Antipasto platters, salmon, poultry, pasta and vegetarian dishes are ideal food companions. Cellaring potential till 2021.
