2014 Patutahi Reserve Chardonnay


Ripe fruit was initially fermented in French oak barriques. Four months lees contact and partial malolactic fermentation has given softness and depth to the well balanced structure. A further eight and a half months barrel maturation has enhanced the stone fruit flavours with a gentle smokiness and added more depth to the body. A wine with cellaring potential till 2021. Enjoy with grilled poultry, roasted pork dishes or smoked seafood.
